Welcome to our new PostDoc Michael McGlade!
We are excited to welcome Michael McGlade as the newest member of our DeltAs project team!

Michael holds a M.Sc. in Energy Management from the University of Stirling, UK. After his graduation, Michael slightly switched gears and started a PhD project in Environmental Sciences, also at the University of Stirling. During his work he focused on developing innovative machine learning approaches to predict how arsenic mobilizes within surface and subsurface environments. He also investigated how changing flood severity under climate warming scenarios influences the biogeochemical cycling of arsenic.
Michael brings valuable expertise in environmental geochemistry and machine learning. Within DeltAs, he is investigating how machine learning and hydrological data can be used to predict spatio-temporal changes in arsenic groundwater contamination and to better understand the drivers influencing such contamination.
With Michael joining us, our research team is now complete, and we are looking forward to an exciting and productive phase ahead.
Welcome aboard!
